Great Game! I played this for about an hour and a half until I beat it. Good Things-Really simple controls-Very good price to quality comparison-Great artwork and musicCritisisms-A LOT of backtracking-Can be confusing at timesSuggestions-Add customizable controls (would love to use wasd as controls)-Make it so that esc doesn't leave the game (Maybe use a "Do you want to quit" message)Overall a great game! Good Job!. What a cute game. Confusing at the moments, but I'll give it a pass.. Hard to believe this is finally here. I remember playing a prototype of it years ago back on the TIG Source forums. Props to the developer for sticking with it!Side-scrolling inventory adventure games have become a lot bigger lately (The Cat Lady, Case & Clownbot), and this brings a nice, clean art style and streamlined interface to the table. A lot of the interface is kept behind the curtain leaving you to simply pick items up and talk to people to solve various quests, as well as leaping back and forth through time. It's really short, about an hour in length, but you're not paying $60, alright?? It's nice when a game ends right before its concept starts to wear thin, and Tick Tock Isle pulls it off.. If you like puzzle games, where you have to run around all the time, then this game might get you 1 or 2 hours of enjoyment. Not a really long game, but the sometimes clandestine items make the game a bit harder. You just have to use logic!Really enjoyed it, recommended.. A fun playthrough. Hurt my wrist a bit nearing the end because all the running up and down.. A relatively short and simple story about a man fixing a clock while simulatenously Dr Phil-ing the lives of a quirky family on an island. Good soundtrack, cute pixel graphics and atmospheric music.I would recommend :3. Spoilers!!Tick Tock Isle is a short but sweet point-and-click adventure following a young man on his quest to repair a clock... Except nothing is ever really that simple in a world where there are secret clock-repairing agents who are more than prepared for sudden episodes of time travel on remote islands. The game's description covers all of the basics of the game: your original task is to repair the grand clock towering over the island home of a dysfunctional family, but you end up needing to fix them to fix it. A lot of times, you're not going to understand what you need to do, and you're going to run back and forth between time periods and family members to figure out what needs to be done, but with a lot of patience and good notes, you can easily 100% the game on your first playthrough. I have 2 hours on record for this game, but about a half hour to an hour of that was because (I think) I took a nap and left it running (oops!). For the graphics, sound and gameplay, it's definitely worth the price, but I wouldn't mind a sequel; I found myself really invested in the characters, and I'm itching for more! I highly recommend this game.
